"Non Typical" FREE CHOICE PROTEIN DEER FEEDER - 1200 LB Auto Deluxe Convertible*
The 1200lb. capacity hopper is 3/8" thick wall of HDPE UV Protected plastic that will not rot, rust or leak! Our hopper has built in channels that the legs fit into. This feeder is built to be rock solid, water proof, and resist condensation.
*BigDaddy says you should consider - Adjustable hardware components allow you to adjust the height for conversion from automatic timer feeding in the fall, to gravity feeding protein through the summer months.
We designed the lid with a loose fit to allow proper ventilation for protein pellets. Our lid system locks the lid down, but allows the hopper to acheive ambient temperature quicker than steel or fiberglass. This helps keep the feed fresh and as free as possible from moisture. The lid has a 2" overlap onto the hopper so water cannot get under it. The Non-Typical hopper only weighs 60 lbs. so moving the feeder even into remote locations is a snap! You don't have to have a truck to move it. Your 4-wheeler and any small trailer will do. We do suggest that you get a buddy to help you raise it and lower the system.
BigDaddy says - Consider also the EXCLUSIVE "T-Post Foot Pads" .. The Non-Typical foot design is completely unique! The feet are designed to accept a T-Post through the center of the foot. The feet are large 7" square steel plates. Each foot has a large nut welded to it and a ½" bolt that when tightened secures - VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR HOGS TO KNOCK OVER!
