Wild Feral Hogs, Wild Boar Hunting Traps Plans & Lights

Wild Hogs, Wild Russian Boars, Wild Feral Pigs - It's Wild Boar and  Hog Hunting Season - 24/7 .. 365 Days a Year!

Wild boars have grown as large as 900 lb for adult males and can be up to 9 ft long. If surprised or cornered they may become aggressive - particularly a sow with her piglets - and if attacked will defend themselves vigorously with their tusks. The wild boar populations have recently returned in many areas of the USA probably because of the feeding of deer which has greatly increased the ability of the wild pig to find food and thus stay healthy and increase.

At least this is the way it appeares in South Texas! Some hunting ranches brought feral hogs in for hunters, and thus stage a strong comeback in areas that had little or no wild hog populations. Some states actually have limits and seasons on wild hogs so be sure to check local game laws.

Problems Caused by Feral Hogs include Habitat destruction, vegetation, they can ruin watering holes, diseases carried by feral hogs, direct competition with native wildlife – Whitetail Deer, squirrels, ducks, turkeys, bears and other species. Hogs can cause damage to row crops, gardens, flower beds, orchards, tree farms and pastures - not to mention eat all the corn and protein meant for your deer herds.
